A collaborative release between Cursed Monk Records, Fiadh Productions & Camellia Sinensis Records"Deep and atmospheric."
STEVEN STAPLETON, NURSE WITH WOUND
"Sirenoscape is an invocative séance on the distant shores of some long-dead sea. Full worlds emerge from each of NIMF’s compositions; ritualistic echoes resonate, cyclical, ever-repeating, somehow comforting in their desolation. Sirenoscape is an album of presence(s). There are mysteries in these soundscapes reminiscent of literature’s most disconcerting weird tales. Listen in the small hours."
BRIAN J. SHOWERS OF SWAN RIVER PRESS
“Listening to Sirenoscape, I find myself completely and willingly immersed, it’s an absorbing and incredible piece of work. I particularly love the deconstruction of the folk elements, like ‘Willie O’Winsbury’, how they appear and then dissipate within the darker landscapes like ghosts — there’s a primal, ritualistic quality that conjures up a wealth of imagery. Indeed, the album is highly visual as a whole, descriptive and transportive — it takes me to many different (haunted) places. The otherworldly ‘Echoed as a Rhythm Against Reality’ is a personal favourite, very Arthur Machen.” -GREY MALKIN, THE HARE AND THE MOON"An expanse of vision in sweetest song lures the listener to her shores, the birds soaring above and crying aloud, a witness to the procession of that more dreadful sacrifice wherein the wicker man does bow his head all ablaze before the setting summer sun. He too was helpless, dragged down with a gravity as inexorable as fate, to the black and living earth of the land. And with a vivid vibrancy, these songs also are evocations of the elements, where a heightened glimpse of nature suddenly slips with a stray step into the Otherworld, across evermore and throughout time. There are many such shifts to be found here, in darkly psychedelic twists which draw inward even deeper, as folk melody and marching rhythm merge and melt deliciously, ultimately to envelop utterly in the uncanny. This is magical music, and there are sublime secrets in these songs. Lose yourself in their splendidly haunted caverns."
BRIAN CONNIFFE, BC ORBIT

A BALLAD FOR LOOKING INTO TIME

"a rare phantasmic feat… That port in the storm-like energy feels like a constant in NIMF’s output to date. Unfurling in myriad directions, it doubles up as an invitation to drop out of the everyday in favour of tapping the wellspring of one’s mind"
BRIAN CONEY OF THE THIN AIR
"It’s dizzying, fantastical, carrying your ears to spaces unexpected and delightful"
BANDCLOUD
"Become swept into the magical forest-like landscape… you have entered a portal to an ancient world of otherworldly creatures, one you thought only existed in folklore and fairytales; and a deep sense of eerie unease sets in"
MUSIC'N'GEAR
"whimsical dreamworld as a haven for exploring darker, heavier themes"
